Molehawk: The Execution System. Not a trap. By Mole Slayer. Product 001 // Kill system // Rev. 5

Molehawk

Not a trap. An execution system.

Five revisions of engineering spite in one box. The Molehawk locates the tunnel, holds the line, and closes the case. Sound it. Set it. Stake it. Bag it. Everything you need to turn an active run into a crime scene, minus the chalk outline. The mole is too small for chalk.

  • Tomahawk-headed Death Stick tunnel probe
  • Detachable axe head for safe transport and storage
  • Knurled cap doubles as a mushroom striker for hard ground
  • Coated-steel Leash: the trap stays anchored topside, always
  • Spring-steel Jaws: reusable, re-armable, unforgiving
  • Built to be stomped, hammered, and occasionally thrown in frustration

[ What's in the box ]

Three parts.
One outcome.

Every other trap is one part and a prayer. The Molehawk is a system: find him, hold him, finish him.

The Death Stick
Component 01

The Death Stick

Part tunnel probe, part tomahawk, entirely unreasonable. Drive the spike along a fresh ridge and feel for the drop. That sudden give is you finding his hallway. Hammer poll on the back for setting stakes. Axe head on the front for intimidation.

The steel lanyard running from the shaft hole
Component 02

The Leash

Moles are cowards. A wounded one will try to drag your trap into the dark with him. The coated-steel retention lanyard anchors the trap to the surface. Nobody leaves. Nobody hides the evidence.

The spring-steel kill trap
Component 03

The Jaws

The proven spring-loaded kill mechanism. Seat it in the run, kill the light, walk away. When he comes through on his morning patrol, his shift ends early. Permanently. Re-arm. Redeploy.

[ Convertible head ]

Axe on.
Axe off.

The tomahawk head comes off for safe transport and storage. The knurled cap that locks it on threads straight onto the shaft as a mushroom striker, so you can hammer the stake into hard ground.

Axe head locked on with the knurled red cap
Mode 01

Axe on

Head seated, cap cranked down. Chop roots, slice sod, set stakes with the hammer poll. Look extremely serious about a four-ounce animal.

Axe head detached, with the knurled cap removed
Mode 02

Axe off

Unscrew the cap and the head slides free. Toss it in the truck, hang it in the shed, ship it home. No blade riding loose.

Knurled cap threaded onto the shaft as a mushroom striker, axe head removed
Mode 03

Mushroom

Thread the cap onto the bare shaft and it becomes a striker. Pound the stake into clay and hardpan without wrecking the head, or your hands.

How it kills

Four steps. No batteries. Death is analog.

  1. 01SoundProbe along a fresh ridge with the Death Stick until the ground gives. That's the main line.
  2. 02SetOpen the run, arm the Jaws, and seat the trap square in the tunnel.
  3. 03StakeDrive the Molehawk in beside the set (cap on, axe off, for hard ground). The Leash ties trap to stake. Cover the hole. Moles hate light. They're about to hate a lot of things.
  4. 04BagCheck daily. Collect. Re-arm. Repeat until the yard goes silent.

FAQ

Why "Molehawk"?

Because the Death Stick is a tomahawk, and moles are the only thing it hunts. Five design revisions went into it. The mole gets one try.

Is it humane?

It's fast. That is the most humane thing we can say about it, and the most humane thing the mole is ever going to get.

Is trapping legal where I live?

In most places, yes. A few states restrict body-gripping traps. Check your state and local regulations before deployment. We want you killing moles, not paying fines.

Does it work on gophers or voles?

The Molehawk is designed and tested for moles. Gophers dig differently and we won't pretend otherwise. Yet.

What do I do with the body?

Glove up, bag it, bin it. Or bury it in the tunnel it dug. Poetic.
