In 2008 as part of my MA in Museum Studies I designed interpretive materials for a small exhibition at Discovery Museum in Newcastle, “What’s Behind a Smile”. I also project managed the last week of the project. The materials were designed to reflect the museum’s existing graphic identity. The text was written collaboratively by the project team.
The exhibition was small – just one display case, with a selection of dental equipment and related objects. It was displayed on the top floor of the museum in an area with high visitor footfall.
